Ingredients

  • 350ml warm water
  • 2Tbsp + 2tsp olive oil
  • 100g BeeMade NZ Forest or Organic Beech Forest Honey
  • 3.5 cups high-grade flour
  • 1 cup wholemeal flour
  • 2 Tbsp gluten flour (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 Tbsp dry yeast

Cooking Instructions

  1. Place the ingredients, in the order listed, in the bread maker.
  2. For a traditional loaf, bake on the wholemeal/whole grain setting and enjoy. For a loaf as pictured, use the dough setting and follow the remaining steps.
  3. Remove the dough from the bread maker and shape into a long loaf and place on a lined baking tray. Brush with milk, and sprinkle with additional sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Leave to rise a second time for 30 minutes.
  4. Bake the bread in a 180 degree oven for 25 minutes, or until it sounds hollow when the bottom is tapped. Enjoy with salted butter and lashings of Beech Forest Honey.
